The Deutsche Bahn AG (DB Systemtechnik, Department of Acoustics and Vibrations) is organising the 9th Workshop. The first International Workshop on Railway Noise was held in Derby in 1976. Since then, it has grown to a gathering of over 100 experts in the field of railway noise and vibration. The last Workshop was held in Buxton, Great Britain, in 2004.
