8th International Conference on Auditorium Acoustics
The IOA's highly successful series of auditorium acoustics meetings continues with this event which will consider the acoustic challenges posed by recent new-build auditoria and refurbishments.
Dublin has several interesting auditoria to its name, most recently the 02 Dublin and the Grand Canal Theatre (architect Daniel Liebeskind). It is planned to visit at one of these during the meeting.
A first call for papers has been issued inviting contributions on acoustic aspects of auditorium design and performance. The deadline for offers is 29 November 2010.
