Technology Support at ABB AB, Corporate Research, offers expertise and experimental resources to ABB globally. 30 persons work as internal consultants, offering advanced problem solving and supporting development projects in the fields of materials, chemistry and mechanics. We mostly work directly in contact with ABB divisions’ technical departments but also support Corporate Research development projects in the frame of research programs. We offer a stimulating work environment with challenging technical issues and many customer contacts. You will have a great impact in how to perform in your role. Our vision is to be the preferred technology partner in chemistry, mechanics and materials science för ABB. We combine our theoretical knowledge with simulation capacity and laboratory resources to offer Wolrd-Class expertise and State of-the-Art experimental resources to ABB.


Your profile

We are now looking for a specialist in the field of noise and vibration. You hold a Ph.D. in accoustics, and at least 10 years of work experience of similar tasks or equivalent experience. You have a very strong interest and network in this field and you will hold the postion as ABB's representative in this area. You are action oriented, analytical, innovative and keen to deliver
results. The close collaboration of ABB Business Areas and other representatives requires you to be fluent in English, a team player and an effective communicator. Your tasks will be mainly to define and drive development projects within your field.
