PhD student in Speech and Music communication
A new PhD student position in Speech and Music Communication, with a focus on voice analysis and simulation, is now open at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden.
The Music Acoustics Research Group at the Department of Speech, Music and Hearing has an opening for a doctoral student, in an interdisciplinary research project on human voice analysis and simulation. This will involve theoretical, experimental and possibly clinical studies of the dynamics of phonation and articulation.
This is a four-year, time-limited position and normally includes 20% departmental duties, usually teaching. Research students must be registered at KTH. The starting date is 5 September, 2011.
